The site is within a shoreland overlay <br />district as well, so shoreland regulations apply. <br />• <br />• <br />Staff described the four structures to be built as being a 20 foot by 20 foot gazebo, a 20 <br />foot by 20 foot multi - purpose building, a 25 foot by 25 foot restroom building, and a 50 <br />foot by 50 foot picnic shelter. Staff recommended approval of the Site and Building Plan <br />Review with conditions. <br />Ms. Lane asked why Lino Lakes is responsible for this project since it is County land. <br />Mr. Smyser explained that the City has jurisdiction and review authority over this <br />County -owned land. <br />Chair Schaps asked if there will be a beach improvement. Mr. Smyser stated that the <br />County will do some grading and beach improvement and has discussed that work with <br />the City Engineer. <br />Ron Cox, Anoka County Park Planner, advised of the retaining wall and <br />sand -based beach which can be graded and improve. �� te°�'ey toured other parks <br />and believe this will be a premium park.
