CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL: <br />II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Ed Schones made a MOTION to approve <br />the minutes of the June 14, 1995 meeting as submitted and <br />was supported by Guy Herr. All voted aye. Motion <br />carried. <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Planning Coordinator Wyland <br />indicated that Item A has been added under Action Items. <br />The agenda was accepted as amended. <br />IV. OPEN MIKE: There was no one present to speak under Open <br />Mike. <br />V. ACTION ITEMS: <br />Variance Request, Wenzel Farms Townhomes <br />Planning Coordinator Wyland reviewed this request which <br />is to allow a variance for 11.5' on Lots 9, 10, & 11 <br />Block 1 Wenzel Farms 5th Addition, and a 1.4' variance on <br />Lot 8, Block 1, Wenzel Farms 5th Addition. The property <br />is Zoned R3, PUD and located south of Elm Street and west <br />of Lake Drive. <br />Ms. Wyland explained that building permits had been <br />issued for the group of 5 townhomes, and block work <br />completed before it was discovered that the buildings <br />were within the required 40' setback. The builder was <br />advised and asked to apply for a variance or alter his <br />plan. He has altered the plan to allow a 29.5' setback <br />from the right of way, however, the Ordinance requires a <br />40' setback.
