Mr. Houchins indicated
the group felt the specific rate would be better left up
to the deciding Boards and Council.
Mr. Houchins indicated diversity of residential
development was also discussed. Issues regarding low
income housing still need to be addressed.
Mr. Houchins indicated green space was also a concern,
most want green space available within walking distance
from their homes.
Chair Schaps inquired if the Sports Complex was
discussed. Mr. Hodgeson indicated that issue was not
addressed.
Mr. Schones expressed concern for no low income housing
development.
Mr. Schones indicated the Board is looking for direction
from the 20/20 Vision Group, but there is no specific
direction. Mr. Houchins indicated it was not the
Group's intent to give specific direction, the diversity
of the Group also left it unable to give specific
direction. Their desire was to give the Boards and
Council general guidelines and information of the
consensus of the residents.
Mr. Houchins indicated any questions the Board may have
could be brought to the next Advisery Meeting on October
16th.
Mr. Schones indicated he would like clarification
regarding clustering /not clustering of developments and
clarification of green space expectations.
