Call to Order and Roll Call: <br />II. Approval of Minutes: <br />Mr. Gelbmann moved approve of the minutes of the December 9, <br />1992 meeting and was supported by Mr. Launders. All voted <br />aye. Motion carried. <br />III. OPEN MIKE: No one was present to speak at Open Mike. <br />IV. ACTION ITEMS: <br />92 -44 -P, Preliminary Plat, Woods of Baldwin Lake, C. Rehbein <br />Chairman Schaps opened the Public Hearing. Mr. Brixius <br />explained that this is a request to plat 16 lots on a 10.16 <br />acre parcel of property zoned R -1X. The site is just south of <br />Baldwin Lake and north of Woodridge Estates. Utilities are <br />available to serve the property and with some minor <br />modifications the plat meets the requirements of the <br />Ordinance. Staff would recommend that the easterly Lot 1 be <br />dedicated for Park purposes as they have been unsuccessful in <br />securing park property elsewhere in this vicinity. <br />Mr. Jeff Knutson was present representing the applicant, Clyde <br />Rehbein. <br />Several property owners were present to voice their concerns. <br />Mr. Dave Jenkins of White Pine Road stated that he objected to <br />any home being built on Lot 1 and was in favor of the lot <br />becoming a neighborhood park. He added that Lots 3, 4, and 5 <br />contain very old mature oak trees and that he would not be in <br />favor of any of these trees being removed. <br />Mary Johnson of White Pine Road stated that she was <br />representing 60 residents who had signed a petition calling <br />for a park in this area. She indicated that they felt the <br />
