Providing sewer to this area would be a plus for
this development and also future extension of services to
problem areas.
Mr. and Mrs. Molitor, property owners immediately north of the
western portion of the proposed development, were present to
voice their support of the project. They indicated that they
would be interested in developing their property and if this
proposal is not allowed their opportunity to obtain utilities
to serve their property will be severely diminished.
After some discussion Mr. Robinson made a motion and was
supported by Mr. Landers to hold a special work session, for
informational purposes only, to discuss this development on
Wednesday, October 27, 1993 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers. All voted aye. Motion carried. Mr. Landers
requested that the school district be invited to the meeting
for their input on how this type of development would affect
the schools.
C. Other: Mr. Gelbman asked if the P & Z could promote the
paving of Main street from the Hugo western boundary to I35 E.
He indicated that roadway is in need of repair and paints a
poor picture of Lino Lakes.
Mr. Meisch asked if the City could consider licensing all
septic systems and monitoring their useability. Kathy Nordine
stated that Washington County has such a provision and she
would provide a sample.
D. 49 Club - Mr. Dave Nathe was present from the 49 Club and
asked if his site plan review for a remodeling job could be
reviewed. He was advised that he had to go through the proper
channels with City Staff. The P & Z could not just review
their item.
VI. ADJOURNMENT: Upon the unanimous consent of the P & Z the
meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
5
