He stated that he would not <br />be interested in the chairmanship except possibly as a co -chair and <br />suggested that the Board meet prior to the next regular meeting to <br />select a chair. All members agreed. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Schaps moved and was supported by Landers to <br />approve the minutes of the March 11, 1991 meeting of the Board. <br />All voted aye. Motion carried. <br />OPEN MIKE: No comments. <br />ITEM 4 - P &Z 92 -03 <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION - ULMER'S RICE LAKE ADDITION - JACK MINKVELD <br />Planning Consultant Brixius reviewed the staff report and explained <br />that this is a request to subdivide an 11,065 square foot parcel <br />from a 2.2 acre (approximately) parcel in Ulmer's Rice Lake <br />Addition. The property is zoned R -1 Single Family Residential and <br />the lot conforms to the requirements of the Code. Staff would <br />recommend approval of the request with the conditions outlined in <br />the staff report. <br />Robinson asked why the property owner was being required to hook up <br />to sanitary sewer and was advised by Brixius that although staff <br />recommends hook up, we can be flexible on this requirement. <br />Robinson also asked why the existing house was not shown on the <br />plan and was advised by the applicant that it was an oversight by <br />the surveyor and would be on the plan submitted to Council. <br />Mr. Menkvold, representing the property owners, was present and <br />
