CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br />II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: September 9, 1992 <br />Al Robinson moved and was supported by Rick Gelbmann to <br />approve the minutes of the September 9, 1992 meeting as <br />submitted. All voted aye. Motion carried. <br />III. OPEN MIKE: No one was present for Open Mike. <br />IV. ACTION ITEMS: <br />A. 92 -43 -C, J. GRANDEL, 6891 LAKE DR., CONDITIONAL USE <br />Mary Kay Wyland reviewed the staff report indicating that <br />Ms. Grandel is requesting a kennel license for her <br />property at 6891 Lake Drive. The property is 4.76 acres <br />in size with a Zoning of R -1 on 2.95 acres and LI on 1.81 <br />acres. Ms. Grandel currently has 9 dogs plus 2 puppies. <br />Some of the dogs are handicapped and old. Several <br />conditions were outlined should the P & Z allow the use. <br />Ms. Grandel was present to answer questions and stated <br />that she would like to keep 9 of the dogs and is working <br />on finding homes for the two puppies. Her intention <br />would be not to replace any of the dogs should they <br />expire, until the limit of four is reached. Five small <br />dogs are kept inside the house along with one larger dog, <br />while the two puppies and three larger dogs are kept <br />outside. In response to a concern by Mr. Mesich she <br />indicated no objection to moving the dogs to allow access <br />to her residence for police and /or emergency personnel. <br />She indicated that she has lived on the property since <br />1983 and was not aware of the kennel license requirement. <br />However, she has been court ordered to take the necessary <br />
