CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: September 9, 1992 Al Robinson moved and was supported by Rick Gelbmann to approve the minutes of the September 9, 1992 meeting as submitted. All voted aye. Motion carried. III. OPEN MIKE: No one was present for Open Mike. IV. ACTION ITEMS: A. 92 -43 -C, J. GRANDEL, 6891 LAKE DR., CONDITIONAL USE Mary Kay Wyland reviewed the staff report indicating that Ms. Grandel is requesting a kennel license for her property at 6891 Lake Drive. The property is 4.76 acres in size with a Zoning of R -1 on 2.95 acres and LI on 1.81 acres. Ms. Grandel currently has 9 dogs plus 2 puppies. Some of the dogs are handicapped and old. Several conditions were outlined should the P & Z allow the use. Ms. Grandel was present to answer questions and stated that she would like to keep 9 of the dogs and is working on finding homes for the two puppies. Her intention would be not to replace any of the dogs should they expire, until the limit of four is reached. Five small dogs are kept inside the house along with one larger dog, while the two puppies and three larger dogs are kept outside. In response to a concern by Mr. Mesich she indicated no objection to moving the dogs to allow access to her residence for police and /or emergency personnel. She indicated that she has lived on the property since 1983 and was not aware of the kennel license requirement. However, she has been court ordered to take the necessary
