• <br />• <br />`PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING <br />April 12, 1989 <br />Chairman Charles Prokop called the regular meeting of the <br />Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board to order at 7:00 p.m., <br />Wednesday, April 12, 1989. Members present were: Sally <br />Kuether, Alan Irwin, Charles Prokop, Fred Chase, and Elmer <br />Crohn. Also present were: Councilmembers Harold Bisel, 8:07 <br />p.m. -Bill Bohjanen, City Planner, John Miller, and Planning <br />Secretary, Laura Elken. Members Absent: Al Robinson. <br />Chairman Charles Prokop accepted a letter of resignation <br />effective immediately, from Gordon Girtz. He was recently <br />promoted at his place of employment, and found it difficult <br />to address the needs of his home, workplace and outside <br />activities. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Chase moved to accept the minutes of March 8, 1989 as <br />written. Ms. Kuether seconded the motion, and the motion was <br />approved unanimously. <br />REQUEST FROM EL REHBEIN AND SON TO REZONE LAND ON LAKE DRIVEL <br />APPLICATION #88 -36. <br />Mr. Irwin moved to table this request until May, 1989. Mr. <br />Crohn seconded the motion, and the motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Rocky Girtz from Klosner -Girtz approached the board. He <br />wanted to get a reaction from the Planning and Zoning Board <br />of a request for a Conditional Use Permit. An automotive <br />business wishes to move into his building at the Lino <br />Industrial Park. <br />The company that wants to move into Girtz's building has been <br />in business before, and he did agree to have no outside <br />storage. This was a concern of the P &Z. <br />Mr. Girtz stated that no modifications will be made to the <br />building. <br />The board felt he should proceed with his application for a <br />Conditional Use Permit. <br />Girtz will meet with John Miller to discuss this further. <br />REVIEW OF CONCEPT PLAN FOR LINDA AVENUE EXTENDED IN SECTION <br />31 IN SOUTHWEST LINO LAKES <br />The development of the Woodridge Estates project has resulted <br />in the extension of sanitary sewer into southwestern Lino <br />
