• <br />PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING <br />May 10, 1989 <br />Chairman Charles Prokop called the regular meeting of the <br />Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board to order at 6:58 p.m., <br />Wednesday, May 10, 1989 at the Lino Lakes City Hall. Members <br />present were: Chairman Charles Prokop, Boardmembers Al <br />Robinson, Sally Kuether, Robert King, Elmer Crohn, Alan <br />Irwin, and Fred Chase. Also present were: Councilmember <br />Harold Bisel; City Engineer, Ron Stahlberg; Building <br />Official, Pete Kluegel; City Planner, John Miller; and <br />Planning Secretary, Laura Elken. <br />Mr. Prokop welcomed new member Robert King. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Chase moved to approved the Minutes of April 12, 1989 <br />as written. Mr. Irwin 2nd the motion, and the motion was <br />approved unanimously. <br />SITE AND BUILDING PLAN REVIEW FOR CHOMONIX GOLF COURSE ANOKA <br />COUNTY APPLICANTS, APPLICATION #89 -09. (FROM TABLE OF APRIL <br />12TH). <br />At the April Planning and Zoning Board meeting this item was <br />discussed. At the request of the Anoka County Park Director <br />the item was tabled. This was to allow the county to <br />consider additional methods of improving the facade on the <br />storage building. <br />The Planning and Zoning Board received an architect's <br />rendering of a facade for the side wall that would <br />incorporate design elements from the club house. Also <br />the board received a grading and drainage plan that show <br />locations of berms to further screen the structure. Also the <br />board received a landscaping plan. <br />Attorney Palumbo, Anoka County Attorney addressed the board <br />and stated that the county's park board members have reviewed <br />the plans submitted, and felt they were acceptable. <br />John Miller presented a memorandum to the P &Z board, and also <br />a copy was sent to Anoka County. John Miller recommended the <br />following: <br />1. Both ends and the side of the building facing the <br />parking lot should be faced with cedar siding. <br />2. Building permit fees be increased in accordance <br />with state guidelines for after -the -fact permits. <br />3. The county grant easements for drainage from the <br />West Shadow Lake Drive area west into park property <br />and from the Robertson Construction land north into <br />park property.
