Will have vehicular approaches to the property <br />which are so designed as not to create traffic <br />congestion or an interference with traffic on <br />surrounding public thoroughfares. <br />8. Will not result in the destruction, loss, or damage <br />of a natural, scenic, or historic feature of major <br />importance. <br />9. Will conform to specific standards of this <br />ordinance applicable to the particular use. <br />It is the City Planners opinion that with a little work the <br />Luther's building could become a reasonably attractive <br />location for Simonson's Garage. <br />After discussion by the board a motion was made. <br />MOTION: Al Robinson moved to recommend to City Council <br />approval of a Conditional Use Permit for Robert Simonson for <br />a Garage at 8121 Lake Drive, Application #89 -21, providing <br />the following recommendations by the City Planner are met. <br />1. Removal of the free - standing sign at the southwest <br />corner of the property. <br />2. Removal of the fuel tanks and pump island from the <br />west side of the site. Any disturbed areas <br />presently covered with asphalt to be repaired and <br />covered with a minimum of two inches of asphalt. <br />3. Any sign to promote the business be flush - mounted <br />to the Lake Drive side of the building. <br />4. Repair of the brick facade (approximately 12 <br />inches) on the west side of the building. <br />5. Painting of the concrete block addition to the <br />structure. <br />6.
