• <br />• <br />• <br />PLANNING & ZONING MEETING <br />August 9, 1989 <br />Chairman Charles Prokop called the regular meeting of the <br />Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board to order at 7:02 p.m., <br />Wednesday, August 9, 1989 at the Lino Lakes City Hall. <br />Members present were: Chairman Charles Prokop, Boardmembers <br />Alan Irwin, Sally Kuether, Robert King, and Al Robinson. <br />Also present were: Mayor, Ben Benson; Councilmember, Andy <br />Neal, City Planner, John Miller; Building Official, Pete <br />Kluegel; and Planning Secretary, Laura Elken. <br />Members absent: Fred Chase. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />On pg. 3 at the end of the motion, it should read "Fred Chase <br />seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously. <br />Pg 8, paragraph's two and three. Correct spelling of the <br />last name is LeTourneau. <br />Mr. Irwin moved to approve the July P &Z minutes as corrected. <br />Al Robinson seconded the motion, and the motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />REVIEW OF MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR JANET AND MIKE GIANOTTI, <br />APPLICATION #89 -37. <br />The Gianottis purchased a one acre single- family lot in <br />Ulmer's Rice Lake 3rd Addition. They were one of four buyers <br />in that subdivision. After that time the lots were re- <br />subdivided into sewer - available city size lots. <br />The Gianottis wish to divide their parcel into four lots. <br />Their parcel is 1.15 acres. Two of the lots will be 81 x 150 <br />and the other two will be approximately 80 x 160 feet. All <br />dimension meet city requirements. <br />The map submitted to the Planning and Zoning Board did not <br />show where the applicants home is positioned. Pete Kluegel <br />confirmed that their home did meet all required setbacks. <br />MOTION: Robert King moved to recommend to the City Council <br />approval of a Minor Subdivision for J. & M. Gianotti, <br />Application #89 -37. adding that the Gianotti's house be added <br />to the plat before council review. Al Robinson seconded the <br />motion, and the motion was approved unanimously. <br />REVIEW OF WILLOW PONDS, D. ERICKSON'S TOWNHOME PROJECT <br />John Miller stated that some time ago the Planning and Zoning <br />Board reviewed both the concept plan and the preliminary plat <br />for townhomes located west of St. Joseph's Catholic Church <br />property. The city council reviewed this project, and it <br />failed by a split decision. When property is rezoned from an <br />Page 1 <br />
