This subdivision will be approved providing
the applicant meets two out of three urban size lot
requirements of width, depth, and square footage. Robert
King seconded the motion, and the motion was approved
unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
Charles Prokop asked that John Miller look at what trends is
the city seeing and the possibility of modifying the zoning
ordinance. John Miller asked that if the boardmembers are
concerned about certain issues, please call him.
Sally Kuether complained about all the cars allowed to remain
in yards. Also she stated that an update should be made on
the sign ordinance.
It was discussed that Pete Kluegel, Building Official must be
just swamped. Pete Kluegel stated that a Community Service
Officer has been hired to take care of nuisance complaints
such as junk cars, and that helps Pete out a lot, although
with the rapid growth of the city, he is awfully busy. The
Planning and Zoning Board backed Pete up and felt that an
additional person should be considered to help out Pete.
John Miller stated that once sewer is extended to what he
thinks it will that there may be up to 500 additional homes
built each year. Charles Prokop recently read an article
stating that the City of Lino Lakes is seconded in the county
for home valuation and he commended John Miller for the work
he has done for the city.
Alan Irwin stated that since we zoned Anoka County Park to
Public - Semi - Public that an ordinance should be revised
including the PSP factor.
Page 10
