• <br />• <br />• <br />Page -1- Planning and Zoning <br />Planning & Zoning Meeting <br />Minutes: March 9, 1988 <br />Chairman Dave Cody called to order the regular meeting of <br />the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board at 7:00 p.m. <br />Wednesday, March 9, 1988. Board members present: Chairman <br />Cody, Nelson, Averbeck, Irwin, Joyer, and Crohn. Also <br />present were: City Planner - John Miller, Building <br />Inspector - Pete Kluegel, City Engineer - Ron Stahlberg, <br />City Council members - Harold Bisel and Bill Bohjanen, and <br />Secretary - Connie Husby. <br />Members not present: Prokop <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: <br />MOTION: Joyer moved to accept minutes as presented. <br />Averbeck seconded the motion and the motion was carried <br />unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE: <br />Gene Orfei and Alan Tschida - Alan represents Paul. Miller <br />owner of Acton Construction in Hugo. They sold 5.8 acres to <br />Gene Orfei of the Acton yard. There were questions <br />regarding subdivision approval. <br />Let the record reflect that Mr. Prokop joined the Planning <br />and Zoning meeting at 7:12 p.m. <br />The discision was made for Gene Orfei to apply for a <br />variance because he wishes outside storage. There was also <br />a recommendation that a variance be considered for Phelps <br />Road because it ends in a cul -de -sac and is more than 500 <br />feet in length. <br />"A variance would also be required because there would be no <br />access on a public road. There would also be difficulties <br />in fencing off or blocking a public road if the gate at <br />Acton's property were maintained." <br />RON STAHLBERG - TKDA - CITY ENGINEER <br />R -1 Lake View Place - This was reviewed by Metro Council. <br />Metro Council said this is not in the MUSA boundry. Zoning <br />is R -1 Urban Residential. It also requires sewer. Ron <br />asked for a minor plan amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br />MOTION: Joyer moved to recommend to council adoption of <br />resolution #88 as prepared by the City Engineer captioned <br />
