PLANNING AND ZONING APRIL 27, 1988 <br />SECOND MEETING <br />ROLL CALL: Vice Chairperson Cheryl Nelson called to order <br />the Lino Lakes special Planning and Zoning meeting at 7:00 <br />p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 1988. Board members present: <br />Vice Chairperson Cheryl Nelson, Arlene Averbeck, Elmer <br />Crohn, Charles Prokop and Alan Irwin. Also present were <br />John Miller - City Planner, Ron Stahlberg - City Engineer, <br />Harold Bisel - Liaison, and Connie Husby - Secretary. <br />Absent: Jeff Joyer, and Chairman Dave Cody. <br />MOTION: Prokop moved that any P & Z member who was not in <br />attendance at the regular scheduled meeting for the month of <br />April but was present today be given the same consideration <br />as if they were in attendance at the April meeting for <br />purposes of the quarterly stipend. Crohn seconded the <br />motion and the motion was carried unanimously. <br />REPLATTING OF PARTS OF ULMERS RICE LAKE ADDITION, <br />APPLICATION 88 -12. VARIANCES FOR LOT DIMENSIONS. <br />Jack Menkveld of North Suburban Development Inc. has a <br />purchase agreement to buy part of Ulmers Rice Lake Addition <br />and Ulmers Rice Lake 3rd Addition. These earlier plats <br />divided land into one acre parcels. Menkveld wishes to <br />extend sewer to the area and resubdivide the land in normal <br />city sized lots. The land is in the City's R -1 Single <br />Family Residential District. The minimum lot size is 80 X <br />135 feet. <br />Let the records reflect that Jeff Joyer joined the P & Z <br />meeting at 7:10 p.m. <br />THERE WERE A FEW RESIDENTS HERE TO DISCUSS THIS RE- PLATTING: <br />GARY DAHL - 216 Ulmers Drive - Property backs up to plat. <br />Gary is concerned because 1/3 of his yard is where drainage <br />is expected to go. Gary mentioned plans to move the <br />drainage to Rice Lake Chain. <br />JOHN FITZPATRICK - 7109 Rice Lake Drive - John's concern was <br />the price of the homes going into the area and how it will <br />affect the value and re -sale of their homes already <br />existing.
