PLANNING AND ZONING APRIL 27, 1988 <br />his equipment would be subject to theft and vandalism. <br />Miller's attorney, Alan Tschida, submitted copies of state <br />statutes prohibiting the fencing or gating of public ways. <br />Finally, Miller (Acton) submitted a proposal for dedication <br />of a 20 foot wide easement extending the 180 feet from the <br />end of Phelps Road to the end of Orfei's land. He promises <br />an easement for the remaining 40 feet within 20 years. His <br />drawing indicates that future extension of Phelps Road would <br />be determined by development on the east. <br />There was discussion regarding the matter and a motion was <br />made. <br />MOTION: Irwin moved to table this due to the request of the <br />applicant. The concensus of the board was that the findings <br />of fact could not be met. Averbeck seconded the motion and <br />the motion was carried unanimously. <br />Prokop moved to table agenda item #4 for the request of Gene <br />Orfei for a site plan. Averbeck seconded the motion and the <br />motion was carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS: Vice Chairperson Cheryl Nelson raised the <br />question regarding having Planning and Zoning meetings twice <br />a month. The Board replied it should be a staff decision <br />and if there are 7 or more items on the agenda it would be <br />left up to the City Planner to arrange for a second meeting. <br />RON STAHLBERG: Ron gave the P & Z members a sneak preview <br />of sewer & water in the City of Lino Lakes. <br />MOTION: Prokop moved to adjourn the meeting.
