1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Planning and Zoning Board <br />March 13, 1985 <br />Chairman McLean called the Planning and Zoning Board meeting to <br />order at 7:00 P.M., March 13, 1985. Members present: Doocy, <br />Prokop, Klaus, Ostlie. Members absent: Goldade, Cody. Also <br />present were Pete Kluegel, Building Official; Richard Kulaszewicz, <br />Liaison; Zack Johnson, Planner and Shar Foster, Secretary. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES - February 13, 1985 <br />Mrs. Klaus recommended the following changes to the February 13 <br />minutes: 1) Page One - Paragraph 5 under 'Building Official's <br />Report' to read: " . . . readdress the temporary sign issue of <br />sign ordinance." 2) Page Two - Paragraph 6 under 'Feasibility - <br />Car Wash' to read: " . . . Board would feel about the establish- <br />ment of a . . ." rather than " . . . Board would feel about the <br />establishing of a . . . ". <br />Mrs. Klaus moved to approve the minutes as corrected above. Mr. <br />Ostlie seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />BUILDING OFFICIAL'S REPORT <br />Mr. Kluegel reported that - <br />-1) The City Council has hired the new Police Chief who will be <br />on board March 25, 1985. <br />2) The February 25, 1985 Council approved the rezone requested <br />by Bruce Hanson from R2 to ER as recommended by the P & Z. <br />3) The February 25, 1985 Council approved the rezone requested <br />by Joe Spetzman to rezone the south half of his property to <br />Light Industrial and also to grant a variance to lot size and <br />also a variance to frontage regulations. <br />4) With regard to the Robert and Juliet Lundgren /Donnell Realty <br />metes and bounds subdivision request, the Park Board was <br />scheduled to deal with the issue of park dedication at their <br />meeting on March 11. That meeting did not take place due to <br />a lack of quorum and has been rescheduled for March 18. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />No one appeared before the Board for Open Mike. <br />PLANNER'S ACCESS PLAN FOR BURQUE AND TUBBS SUBDIVISION REQUESTS <br />As was requested at the last meeting of the P & Z, Mr. Zack Johnson, <br />the newly contracted City Planner, presented a plan of road access <br />for the proposed Burque and Tubbs subdivisions. Because of the <br />close proximity of the two proposed subdivisions, it was agreed <br />that they should be handled together with respect to the roads and <br />traffic patterns plan. <br />99 <br />
