Now that Mr. Johnson is
the City Planner, he was asked to review the original Comprehensive
Plan versus the 'editorial changes' that were made, bring the
changes to the Planning and Zoning Board at their next meeting so
that all are informed of the changes which were made.
OLD BUSINESS
None.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Prokop asked Mr. Kluegel if he knew why the City is plowing the
unfinished roads in West Oaks. He felt that if the City plows the
road it is a sign of accepting the roads. Since they are not up to
City standards, he felt that they should not be plowed. Mr. Kluegel
said that he would check into this, and that he is holding a letter
of credit which insures that the roads will be completed to City
standards. The Board asked that Mr. Kluegel make sure the letter
of credit does not expire before the work is done.
Mr. Doocy publicly acknowledged the time - saving communications, memos,
etc. that Mr. Zack Johnson has put into use and showed his thanks
and appreciation for this type of communication.
Mr. Kluegel was asked to find out who is responsible for checking
to see that stipulations governing individual conditional use
permits are being followed. It appears that some conditional use
permits which have been granted in the past have continued past the
time granted, or else are not complying with other stipulations set
at the time of granting the conditional use permit. Mr. Kluegel
was particularly asked to check into the conditional use permit
granted to Marcel LeRoux for mining. It was felt that someone
should be responsible for reviewing on an annual basis.
Mrs. Klaus publicly acknowledged the checklist that Mr. Kluegel
has started to use for each item on the Planning and Zoning Board
agenda. She felt that this checklist is very helpful and thanked
Mr. Kluegel for putting it into use.
The meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M.
