154 <br />PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD <br />December 11, 1985 <br />Page Five <br />MOTION: Mr. Prokop moved to approve Ordinance #{15 -85 including <br />the following changes: <br />Section 8, Subdivision (4)(C) Surfacing and Drainage. <br />All off street . . . except permitted uses in the <br />R and ER Districts shall be paved . . . <br />Section 8, Subdivision (4)(C) (paragraph 2): <br />Permitted used in the rural district and ER district shall <br />be allowed . . . <br />The two changes recommended above eliminate the words "and ER ". <br />Mr. Cody seconded the motion. On the vote, Mr. Goldade opposed, <br />motion carried. <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVIEW <br />Mr. McLean suggested that a task force be created to review <br />and update the comprehensive plan for the City. The members he <br />suggested for the task force would be members of the P 6 Z Board, <br />Building Official, City Planner, two members of the Economic <br />Development Committee, a representative from the Park Board, a <br />couple of public spirited citizens, and the Council liaison. <br />He suggested that the course of the review should follow the <br />direction outlined in Mr. Johnson's 9/10/85 memo. <br />The Board agreed with Mr. McLean's suggestidn and set a tentative <br />date of January 15, 1986 at 7:00 P.M. Mr. McLean asked that a <br />secretary be made available for this and further task force <br />meetings. Mrs. Foster said this would need to be discussed with <br />the City Administrator. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Blaine Zoning Map <br />Mr. Kluegel showed a zoning map for the City of Blaine which he <br />received with a letter asking that Lino Lakes comment before <br />a certain date. The P 6 Z Board did not meet in ample time to <br />review and comment before the date requested. They did however, <br />briefly review the zoning map and asked Mr. Kluegel to write <br />to the City of Blaine explaining that for reasons of timing, <br />Lino Lakes will not be commenting on the map. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />The Board wished to commend Mr. Kulaszewicz on his many years of <br />service to the P 6 Z Board and to the City. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:20 P.M. <br />1 <br />
