Unless the State would agree to a 32' wide access which
would taper to the 25' shown on the building plan, the entire
building would need to be shifted to the south. The applicant
said that this would not be a problem, that the drawing was simply
drawn on the premise of 25' accesses, and that Custom Manufacturing
would provide whatever the State requires.
MOTION: Mr. Joyer moved to recommend to Council approval of the
site and building plan of Lloyd McKinney (Custom Manufacturing),
(application #87 -4, dated 1- 29 -87) based on the Planner's recommenda-
tion, with the following stipulations: 1) Tree diameters - Marshall
Ash 3" - 4 ", Colorado Spruce 6' - 8' at planting, 2) State to deter-
mine whether accesses be 32' wide or 32' entrance tapering to 25',
3) Area shown as seeded be completed by 9/15/88, 4) An escrow be
held by the City for paving to be completed by 9/15/88. Mr. Prokop
seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
Mr. Prokop asked, as a matter of record, whether any of the materials
used in the plant would create toxic waste material. The representa-
tive said no, there would be no toxic waste.
BUILDING STANDARDS - PROPOSED ORDINANCE #05 -86
The Board reviewed proposed ordinance #05 -86 and the changes
recommended to same by the City Planner. This issue has been
discussed at length at past meetings.
MOTION: Mr. Prokop moved to recommend to Council adoption of
Ordinance No. 05 -86 (as found on Page Five of these minutes).
Mr. Irwin seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
CREATION OF A "CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT" - PROPOSED ORDINANCE 17 -86
Lengthy discussion on this issue resulted in the following motion.
MOTION: Mr. Prokop moved to recommend to Council adoption of Ordin-
ance No. 17 -86 (as found on Pages 6, 7 & 8 of these minutes). Mrs.
Nelson seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
