• <br />• <br />PLANNING & ZONING BOARD <br />April 8, 1987 <br />Page Four <br />SITE AND BUILDING PLAN AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR EXTERIOR STORAGE - <br />Klosner- Goertz <br />Mr. Goertz appeared before the Board representing his application for <br />a revision to the mini- storage facility in Lino Industrial Park which <br />would create office area for his construction company and a warehouse <br />area. <br />There were questions as to the landscaping planned for the building. <br />Mr. Goertz reminded the Board that the mini - storage facility was re- <br />cently built, at which time, the landscaping requirements of the P & Z <br />Board were satisfied. Since the front of the building would not be <br />affected by this addition, he 'did not feel it was necessary to change <br />the landscape, particularly in light of the fact that trees and shrub- <br />bery do so poorly in the Industrial Park. <br />MOTION: Mr. Prokop moved to recommend to Council approval of a site <br />and building plan for Klosner- Goertz, application 87 -8 as proposed <br />within the application since it appears to meet zoning ordinance with <br />regard to sanitary requirements, landscape requirements and parking <br />requirements. Mr. McLean seconded the motion which carried unanimously. <br />MOTION: Mr. McLean moved to recommend to Council approval of a <br />conditional use permit for exterior storage for Klosner- Goertz, appli- <br />cation 87 -9 in the area designated within the application provided <br />that the area be enclosed by a 6' chainlink fence with slats in the <br />section facing the street. Mr. Prokop seconded the motion which <br />carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS bQ° `C\�ke5 <br />Custom Contracting - Change to Site and Building Plan -se k 411.„1.4 <br />o f,), <br />Mr. Kluegel presented a drawing to the Board which would change the <br />site and building plan which the P & Z Board recommended for approval <br />a few months ago for Custom Contracting. The change involves the <br />addition of 48' to the proposed building. The Board did not feel <br />that this addition would require further formal review by the P & Z <br />Board or change the recommendation the Board made to the City Council; <br />the Building Official could pass on the P & Z Board approval of the <br />change. <br />Dennis Erickson Plat Changes <br />Mr. Kluegel presented to the P & Z Board for their information a <br />redraft of the preliminary plat for Dennis Erickson's Addition along <br />Birch Street. He explained that some minor changes have been made <br />since the P & Z Board reviewed the preliminary plat which add some <br />0 lots and change the location of one of the streets and also changes <br />the location of the proposed park area. Mr. Kluegel explained that <br />the changes were initiated with recommendations from the City Engi- <br />neer and that the P & Z Board would have the opportunity to review <br />the final plat including these changes in the near future. <br />
