• • PLANNING & ZONING BOARD July 8, 1987 Page Four CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA Ordinance No. 04 - 87 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE, APPENDIX B, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES BY AMENDING DESIGN REQUIREMENTS FOR OFF - STREET AREAS. The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does ordain: I. Ordinance No. 2 of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota passed by the City Council on May 24, 1983 is hereby amended as follows: AMENDMENT: Section 8, Subdivision 4 (C). All access drives, drive- ways, approaches, sales lots, and parking areas shall be surfaced with asphalt or concrete in a manner approved by the City Engineer. Exceptions are access drives, drive- ways, approaches, sales lots, and parking areas in the rural and residential districts of the City that serve farm and residential principal and accessory uses on par- cels of more than one acre. These may be surfaced with 1) class 5 gravel, 2) pea rock, 3) crushed rock, or 4) agricultural lime in a manner approved by the City Engi- neer. On parcels of less than one acre, asphalt or con- crete surfaces are required. II. AMENDMENT: Section 4, Subdivision 28, Paragraph 3: (Add underlined sentence) to read: Access drives to principal structures which traverse wooded, steep or open field areas shall be constructed and maintained to a width and base material depth suffi- cient to support access by emergency vehicles. All access drives (driveways) shall comply with the following stand- ards. See also Section 8, Subdivision 4 (C). Save as above amended, said Ordinance No. 2 shall stand as initially passed and as previously amended.
