• <br />• <br />Ernie Apitz's neighbor, Steve Kaiser owns a garage that has <br />been determined to be partially located on Mr. Apitz's land. <br />Steve Kaiser is interested in purchasing a parcel of <br />property 12 X 188 from Mr. Apitz so that he owns the land on <br />which his garage is located. <br />MOTION: Mr. McLean moved to accept the approval of a lot <br />split for Ernie Apitz for property at 6524 Hodgson Road to <br />create and transfer a parcel measuring 12 X 188 for purposes <br />of correcting a boundary line, Application 87 -26 to the City <br />Council Section 1001.16. Ms. Nelson seconded the motion and <br />the motion was carried unanimously. <br />CORNER LOTS - Consideration of Ordinance Amendments to <br />establish corner lot sizes. <br />John Miller sent out a memo regarding the clarification of <br />corner lots. This memo was self explanatory. John Miller <br />stated that the owner might have the option to face their <br />house either way. There was discussion at length regarding <br />this matter. Chairman Cody recommended a motion amending <br />the ordinance. <br />MOTION: Cheryl Nelson moved to approve the ordinance <br />amendment. Mr. McLean seconded the motion and the motion <br />was carried unanimously. <br />ZONING MAP - Changing residential comprehensive plan <br />amendments revised zoning map. <br />John Miller -City Planner, presented a draft zoning map <br />revision. He explained the zoning map must be revised to be <br />in compliance with the comprehensive plan. There was <br />discussion about the different zones and their location. <br />The City Planner will mail copies of the map to the members <br />so that they might indicate areas for executive homes. <br />MOTION: Mr. McLean moved to table this, and Ms. Averbeck <br />seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Mr. McLean inquired about the Hanson Block <br />Proposal. John Miller said that Mr. Hanson is still <br />interested in Lino Lakes. Hanson Block is also interested <br />in knowing if a site at I35E and Cedar Street is acceptable <br />to the City. Planning and Zoning Board members discussed <br />the location at length. Problems they had with the sight <br />were increased truck traffic, outside storage and adjacent <br />land uses. The Chairman polled the members about the <br />desirability of locating Hanson Block at this location. <br />Averbeck - NO, Cody - NO, McLean - NO, Joyer - YES, Nelson - <br />NO OPINION, and Irwin - YES. <br />Mr. McLean inquired about abandoned vehicles in the City of <br />Lino Lakes.
