•
•
•
lot of this, and said it was up to the Police Department to
take care of the problem.
NEW BUSINESS
Mayor Benson addressed the board with a couple of questions.
1) What do you think of our liaison and how would you go
about selecting a liaison for this job?
2) What major objectives should we as a City look at?
Building Structure etc.? More restrictive rules and
regulations?
COMMENTS TO QUESTION #1
The liaison should come back to the council and before they
say what motions were made at the Planning & Zoning meeting,
they should also inform the council members of what led up
to the motion. Also, the liaison should play two roles. A
communicator and a council role.
* Previous liaison wasn't here half of the time.
* Don Marier does a good job - 100% of listening
* The liaison should relay what John Miller and Pete
Kluegel or Planning and Zoning members say - than he
should make a decision of what to say to the City
Council.
COMMENTS TO QUESTION #2
* We have been only reacting to agenda items. We should
consider new Planning functions and take on new projects.
* We should work and cooperate with the developers more.
MORE NEW BUSINESS - Mr. McLean mentioned signs on Otter Bay
to Pete Kluegel. Pete said the signs are not there yet!
John McLean said to bring a calender to the next meeting and
he would plan a City tour date for January.
Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. by Chairman Cody.
