• • • PLANNING & ZONING BOARD Page 1 October 8, 1986 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board was called to order at 7:03 P.M. by Chairman Doocy on Wednesday, October 8, 1986. Board members present: Cody, Klaus, Averbeck, Nelson, Prokop. Members absent: McLean. Others present: Kluegel, Building Official; Bisel, Council Liaison; Wuornos, City Planner; Foster, Secretary. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES - September 10, 1986 MOTION: Mr. Prokop moved to accept the minutes of the 9/10/86 meeting with two typographical changes: the words "power power" on page two be changed to "power pole "; the word "difficult" on page four be changed to "difficulty ". Mrs. Klaus seconded the motion which carried unanimously. OPEN MIKE No one was scheduled or appeared under open mike. BUILDING OFFICIAL'S REPORT Nickelson Plumbing - Site and Building Plan and Conditional Use Permit for Exterior Storage - Mr. Kluegel reported that the City Council at their 9/22/86 meeting approved the site and building plan for Nickelson Plumbing subject to P & Z recommendations. The conditional use permit requested by Nickelson Plumbing was denied by Council and it is the Building Official's task to monitor the exterior storage. The Board questioned why (when the P & Z Board wants to tighten up on exterior storage) the Council left the exterior storage issue to the discretion of the Building Official. Ms. Nelson then stated that without a conditional use permit, Nickelson Plumbing would be allowed no exterior storage and thus all storage would need to be kept inside. The Board agreed with this interpretation. Custom Contractors - Conditional. Use Permit for Land Reclamation - Mr. Kluegel reported that the 9/22/86 Council tabled this issue until a report from the City Engineer and Public Works Director is received at the next Council meeting. Paul Wolters - Amended Conditional Use Permit - Mr. Kluegel reported that the 9/22/86 Council moved to approve the amended conditional use permit allowing the addition to the A -Well building with the stipulation that the front be bricked up to just below the windows with cedar shakes along the full length of the building (this stipulation is above and beyond the P & Z recommendations) and screening and landscaping per P & Z recommendations.
