The City Administrator has
requested that all involved keep in mind the time and budget
constraints agreed to by the group.
PAUL WOLTERS - SITE AND BUILDING PLAN FOR NEW PRINT SHOP
BUILDING
Mr. Wolters appeared before the Board at the September 1986
P & Z meeting with a site and building plan for a proposed
building to be used as a print shop at 7781 Lake Drive. The
Board tabled the item asking that several issues be
addressed before further consideration of the application
(see 9/10/86 minutes).
The revised site and building plan included the following as
requested on 9/10/86:
- There is an area of landscaping between the parking
area and the building;
- Elevations are at sea level;
- Parking area shows drainage plan;
- There are a few options that the utility company has
suggested to move the power pole from the center of
this driveway and the driveway to the south. The
applicant will choose one option so that the pole will
not be located anywhere in the driveway area;
- The elevation of "901X3" will be changed to "901X9" on
the site plan at the south rear of the parking area;
- Landscape designer has been consulted - plans met with
the Board's approval;
- Brick facing is designated on the site and building
plan for portions of the front of the building;
- Swale for drainage will be the parking area itself.
MOTION: Mr. Prokop moved to recommend to Council approval
of the site and building plan of Paul Wolters ( #86 -27),
dated 8/20/86 because the concerns of the P & Z Board have
been satisfied and it appears that the application is
consistent with the zoning ordinance. Mr. Cody seconded the
motion which carried unanimously.
ED VAUGHN - MINOR SUBDIVISION
Mr. Kluegel explained that Mr. Vaughn owns 300+ acres in the
rural zone off Birch Street and that he is requesting a
subdivision of 10+ acres with more than the required 330'
frontage in order to build a single family dwelling. The
October 1, 1986 memo from the City Planner states that the
request is consistent with the comprehensive plan and zoning
ordinance.
