• <br />• <br />• <br />PLANNING & ZONING BOARD <br />Page 6 October 8, 1986 <br />Building Standards - The P & Z Board discussed the ongoing <br />building standards issue, particularly the question of <br />whether or not to allow pole buildings within the City and <br />again agreed to stand firm on their recommendation not to <br />allow pole buildings based on 1) information from <br />surrounding communities in support of this stand; 2) the tax <br />increment financing program being considered by the City; 3) <br />future foreseen sewer expansions. <br />MOTION: Mr. Cody moved to request that the City Council <br />review the building standards compiled by the City Planner <br />and the Building Official and consider this issue to be made <br />part of the agenda for the upcoming Council "round table" <br />meetings on October 24 and 25. Mr. Prokop seconded the <br />motion which carried unanimously. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Budget - The Board asked that the 10/8/86 memo from R. L. <br />Wuornos and Associates regarding proposed planning budget <br />items for the next fiscal year be forwarded to the City <br />Administrator. <br />Mr. Prokop moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:50 P.M. Mrs. <br />Averbeck seconded the motion. Aye. <br />
