It was an acre lot with a 24' X 24' detached
accessory building near the back lot line. The siding and
roof matched the home.
2. Neil Banta is proposing to put up an accessory building -
would like a 1000 square foot building. He had staked out
an area of 760 square feet and 1000 square feet. His lot
is one acre.
3. Next stop was at Wally Ostlie's home. He has 4 acres with
a pole building of 1000 square feet. The side walls were
10' high.
4. The fourth stop was at 7815 Knoll Drive. It was an acre lot
and the accessory building matched the house, and attached
garage. The home next door had a three car garage with an
accessory building similar in construction near the back lot
line.
5. We next viewed a storage building on Rohavic. The building
is 16' X 16' on an acre lot, and matched the house in construc-
tion.
6. During the tour we noticed a home on the east side of town
where the accessory building of pole type construction was
built closer to the road than the house.
7. The accessory building of pole type construction at 6198 Holly
Drive is 4000 square feet and on a 12 acre lot.
8. Concerns expressed during the tour:
a. Height of accessory building
b. Height of side walls
c. Possible 10' side setback on all lot lines for major
construction.
d. Architectural design - buildings that were of the same
design and construction as the home, appeared to be the
ideal situation for acre size lots.
9. Other concerns:
a. Kloesner /Goertz has a lot of scrap material.
b. The lot split at 6198 Holly Drive -- does it split all
the way to the road?
c. No road in Sherwood Green development, i.e., houses
built on Greenwood Lane and it is not paved.
