WHEREAS, <br />Special Planning and Zoning Board Meeting <br />March 30, 1983 <br />Page -4- <br />of the City of Lino Lakes, and <br />The Planning Commission has worked diligently with the Zoning Ordinance <br />Task Force in evulating and updating the City's existing zoning Ordinance <br />so as to, in their collective opinion, represent the interest of the re- <br />sidents of the City of Lino Lakes and the City's adopted Comprehensive <br />Plan and <br />WHEREAS, The proposed Zoning Ordinance shall promote the public health, safety, <br />order, convenience, property and general welfare within the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that: <br />1) The Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Commission hereby recommends that <br />the City Council conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes 462.357, Subd. 3. <br />2) The Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Commission hereby recommends that <br />the City Council review and take final action on the proposed ordinanc <br />by adopting and publishing same. <br />4111Charles Prokop, Chairman <br />John McLean, Vice - Chairman <br />Mr. McLean moved for adoption of the Resolution adopting the draft zoning Ordinance and <br />Map referenced as Appendix "B" of the City Code with the addition the changes that have been <br />acted upon by the Planning Commission be incorporated in the draft Ordinance. Mr. Ostlie <br />seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Short was asked to note the changes for the Council but not redo the draft Ordinance <br />until the Council has made their changes. <br />Mr. Prokop recommended that the Council recognize the individual Task Force members in some <br />manner for their extensive contributions to drafting this zoning ordinance and zoning map. <br />Mrs. Anderson and Mr. Kluegel informed the Planning Commission that the Council has set a <br />Public Hearing for the proposed zoning ordinane and map for April 19, 1983 at 7:00 P.M. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10 :45 P.M. Mrs. Klaus seconded the motion. Motion declared <br />passed. <br />• <br />
