•
December 8, 1982
Planning and Zoning Board
Page -3-
wheel stops, etc. of his letter dated December 3, 1982 be complied with by Mr. Amund-
son. This development will be consistent with what has already developed in the area.
Mrs. Klaus seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
MOVING PERMIT - Henry Miers
Mr. Johnson explained that this item is not on the agenda. However, it would be quite
a hardship to make this item wait another month as the weather will be a major problem.
Since the agenda was short gave his cjmsent to appear tonight.
. 6,1 t NAJJSn I^
Mr. Miers is asking for a Moving Permit to move a house presently located at 525 Birch
Street to 920 Birch Street. The house has been inspected by Mr. Kluegel and Council-
woman Elcenpeter and found to be in good condition and meeting City construction require-
ment. Mr. Miers explained the new location for the house is a lot he presently owns
and on which he obtained a variance in April, 1982 to split from his property for a
building site. The lot has a driveway already constructed and approved by the Anoka
County Highway Department.
Mr. Schumacher noted to be consistent this property should have a Special Use Permit as
specified in Ordinance #56, section 4.04D.
Mrs. Klaus moved to recommend to the Council approval of the Moving Permit for Mr. Miers
from 525 Birch Street to 920 Birch Street pending payment of the $75.00 moving permit fee
and the completion and payment of the Special Use Permit for Section 4.04D of Ordinance
#56. In granting this Moving Permit and Special Use Permit the Planning and Zoning Board
feels the house is consistent with the general value of the homes in the area. Mr.
Prokop seconded the motion. Motion declared passed.
STATE AID ROADS SYSTEM
Mr. McLean has requested that Mr. Schumacher explain the Lino Lakes State Aid Road
System to the Planning and Zoning Board. He explained that a system of State Aid Roads
for Lino Lakes has been designed by the engineer and adopted by the City Council.
This system was designed to be submitted to the State for funding. This does not
mean that each and every road will be built since the plan is subject to review and change
by the Council each year.
OLD BUSINESS
There was no Old Business.
NEW BUSINESS
Mrs. Klaus said she would like to thank the City for letting her attend the workshop on
November 30, 1982. She felt the morning session was of particular interest. It was
conducted by three lawyers. One thing she felt was important was the Special Use Permits
are issued to the land not the landowners.
Mr. Prokop asked about the 911 emergency number. There was discussion about the number.
Mr. Doocy moved to adjourn at 9:40 P.M. Mr. Prokop seconded the motion. Aye.
