Planning and Zoning Board <br />November 18, 1981 <br />Page Three <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />411 Mr. Doocy asked that this Board be filled in on the request of Mr. Garske <br />on the matter of a request to open an Auction Barn at the Lino Body Shop <br />on Lake Drive. <br />Mr. Doocy reported this person had asked if he could operate an Auction Barn <br />out of the garage located at 7702 Lake Drive. This has been researched and <br />there is no ordinance govering this and, at the present, there is no fee <br />schedule for a license. <br />Mr. Schumacher said it is very difficult to control what is sold at a place <br />such as this. <br />Mr. Johnson said he had some Ordinances from other cities and if there is <br />one concerned with this type of operation, it could be used as a model. <br />The general consensus of the Board was that before this could be dealth with <br />an ordinance should be written. <br />ULMER's RICE LAKE ADD. III <br />This addition had been tabled previously until this meeting. Mr. Doocy <br />recommend this matter be tabled until it is requested to be put back on the <br />agenda. <br />Mrs. Klaus moved to table consideration of Ulmer's Rice Lake Add. III, that <br />had been tabled from the October 21, 1981 meeting to this meeting. until <br />there is further information from Mr. Ulmer. Seconded by Mr. Prokop. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />LAND USE PLANNING WORKSHOP <br />Mrs. Klaus asked to comment on this workshop that three of the members had <br />attended. She felt that it was very informative and she wanted the Council <br />to know that it was appreciated that they could attend a workshop such as <br />this. <br />SAFETY SIGNS <br />Mr. Swistoski asked if anything had been done about the safety signs being <br />installed aroung the park areas, etc. <br />Mr. Schumacher reported that the City had just had a sign survey done by the <br />State and all new signs were being installed. <br />Mr. Prokop moved to adjourn.
