Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Schumacher was requested to present to the Council this Board's con- <br />cern with this portion of the Ordinance setting forth the restrictions on <br />the length of a driveway. <br />Mr. Blackbird had not arrived, so the request of Land and Oaks was con- <br />sidered. Mr. Schumacher presented the request for the platting of the <br />lands along Main Street East of 135E. This plat has the approval of the <br />County Engineers - the setbacks will be on the final plat, th driveway <br />requirements has been provided - the future needs of the <br />co t. along <br />Main Street have been provided - the lots meets the City Ordinance re- <br />quirements. Mr. Schumacher noted there is not a detailed drainage plan. <br />A letter from Mr. Gotwald was read noting that this plan must be submitted <br />to Rice Creek Watershed Board for their approval. <br />Mr. Tschida said he is aware of the need for this and also the grading <br />that must be done to provide the proper drainage. <br />Mr. Reinert felt this plat meets all City requirements and the only item <br />remaining is the Rice Creek Watershed Board's approval. Mr. Schumacher <br />recommended approval of this preliminary plat with the understanding that <br />no final action can be taken until this approval is received. <br />•r. Heath moved to recommend approval of this preliminary plat and that a <br />public hearing be set subject to the review and approval of the Rice <br />Creek Watershed Board. Seconded by Mr. Doocy. Motion declared passed. <br />The appearance of V.S.Petersen at the last meeting was discussed. This <br />had been for informational purposes only and he will return at a later date <br />Mr. Blackbird, representing El Rehbein & Son still had not arrived. The <br />Board then considered the suggested Ordinance change dealing with <br />accessory buildings. The Council had asked Mr. Schumacher to write a <br />suggested change. He presented the problems that are developing in the <br />residential areas with the construction of the large metal pole -type <br />buildings. This ordinance amendment would limit the first building to <br />750 square feet and the second building 150 square feet. This has been <br />scheduled for a public hearing at the April 14, 1980 Council meeting. <br />This is for informational purposes only and no action is required by this <br />Board at this time. <br />Sicne there was no other old business to be considered,Mr. Reinert asked <br />for ideas on the Circle Pines Comprehensive Land Use Plan that had been <br />forwarded to this City for review and comment. <br />The area of discussion centered on the proposal that Circle Pines acquire <br />a parcel of land of over 30 acres adjoining the Baldwin Community Park <br />*from Lino Lakes to add to that Park. This is not to be a joint venture, <br />but would delete that land from Lino Lakes and add to Circle Pines. This <br />area is considered 0 valuable for residential development. <br />341-.Mr. Heath moved to recommend approval of the Circle Pines Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan according to Mr. Short's comments with special emphasis <br />placed on the second paragraph, item 2, that this be a cooperative agree- <br />
