•
IIIThe regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board was called
4lio order at 7:35 P.M. by Chairman Reinert. Members Present; Prokop,
eath, Bathke, Doocy, Absent: Schwankl, Johnson.
Mr. Doocy moved to approve the minutes of January 16, 1980 as presented.
Seconded by MR. Heath. Motion declared passed.
The first order of business was a presentation from Rite -Way Waterproofing
on the request for Industrial Revnue Bonds for the expansion of that firm.
Mr. Roy Mattson of Mattson Building of Cokato, made the presentation.
Thisfor the information of the Planning and Zoning Board and no action
is expected from this Commission.
SbrruarY 20, 1980
•
The plans include office space and shop area. The structure is to be
located directly to the North of the existing building on Highway #49.
The Land and Oaks Plat was considered. A representative for this plat
had not arrived at this time. Mr. Schumacher read the minutes concerning
the last action taken on this plat. This matter was tabled to later in
the agenda.
The next item was Sunset Oaks Plat II. Mr. Schumacher read the letter
from Mr. Short, City Planning Consultant, pointing out this land is pro-
posed for Industrial in the Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
Mr. Stanley said they had considered the Industrial but felt that is so
many years away, and felt that, at the present time residential is the
only way the land can be used.
The matter of this land being bordered by the Prison and the Interstate
was questioned - is this marketable with those factors? Mr. Stanley felt
there would be no bearing on the saleability of the land.
There was discussion on whether this should be allowed to be platted as
residential or required to remain as industrial as in the Comprehensive
Land Use plan - the pros and cons of both uses was thoroughly examined.
Mrs. Vi Schwankl arrived. She asked for an update on the discussion.
Mr. Prokop moved to table this matter until the March 19, 1980 Planning
and Zoning Board meeting. Seconded by Mr. Heath. Motion carried unanimou
sly.
The next item on the agenda was Pat Switzenberg. No one was present.
Mr. Schumacher was questioned on the application for a rezoning. This
matter was delayed until the next meeting.
Mr. Tschida, representing Land and Oaks, had arrived. The platting
request was considered.
• Mr. Schumacher presented the Planner's concern with the driveway along
IIICounty Road #14 and this requires permission from the Anoka County
Highway Department.
