• <br />Outdoor Recreation Grant <br />Clearwater Creek Park — Lino Lakes <br />7 of 8 <br />Item 18. Recreational Site Plan <br />A site plan for Clearwater Creek Park is attached (Exhibit 0). <br />DRAFT <br />Item 19. Building and Trail Plans <br />All buildings, trails, playgrounds, and athletic facilities will be accessible to <br />persons with disabilities and meet the American with Disabilities Act Accessibility <br />Guidelines (ADAAG). <br />Building plans for the gazebo are attached. This includes front and side views, <br />dimensions, and materials list (Exhibit P). <br />All trails within Clearwater Creek Park will be paved and be 8 feet in width. The <br />base material will consist of 4" of Class 5 aggregate, and the surface will consist <br />of 2" MnDOT 2331 Type 41A asphalt. A typical cross section of the trail is <br />attached (Exhibit Q). <br />Item 20. Playground Plans <br />A site plan of the proposed playground equipment is attached (Exhibit R). The <br />• accessible components are highlighted. Engineered wood fiber, 12" in depth, will <br />be placed throughout the entire playground area to provide an excellent safety <br />surface and provide wheelchair accessibility. The proposed playground <br />equipment plan meets guidelines set forth in the ADA Proposed Guidelines for <br />Public Playgrounds Checklist. It is designed to provide an integrated play setting <br />for children of all abilities. Two park benches (Exhibit S) will be placed adjacent <br />to the playground area to allow adults an opportunity to supervise their children <br />and socialize with other adults. <br />• <br />
