• <br />• Town Center Landscaping — Removed dead plants, old mulch and some soil in the two beds <br />nearest the police entrance. Installed new landscape fabric and 4' of shredded "Ruby Red" <br />hardwood mulch. New plant material will be installed next spring. <br />• Hockey and pleasure rink maintenance — Cut weeds low inside hockey rink and repaired rink <br />boards as needed. <br />• Ordered plant materials for next spring's planting projects. <br />• Behm's Park and Country Lakes Park entrance signs and landscaping - Maintenance staff <br />worked closely with Eagle Scout candidates. Work included the following: <br />Site preparation (grading and tilling) staff. <br />Layout and installation of 1st course of landscape block (staff). <br />Construction and installation of new signboards and posts (staff). <br />Delivery of needed materials (block, fill, mulch, fabric) (staff). <br />Completion of landscape bed (scout). <br />Adding fill, fabric, and mulch to bed (scout). <br />Installed plant materials (scout). <br />Both projects turned out great and definitely improves the appearance of both parks.
