Park Board Meeting - November 5, 2001 <br />Minutes <br />• be laid for the internal trail loop. Trails around the playground <br />area and entrance signs will be done at a later date. <br />• <br />• <br />As you recall, the City of Lino Lakes was awarded a DNR Outdoor <br />Recreation Grant in the amount of $125,000. The City through Park <br />Dedication Funds, General Fund Dollars, or future referendum must <br />match this amount. The City Council has not yet designated the <br />source of the matching funds. <br />Rick suggested the development of Clearwater Creek be continued. <br />Possibly the playground equipment and gazebo be addressed this <br />winter. He indicated he envisions using the same process as past <br />playground equipment projects which would be soliciting bids from <br />area vendors, have residents and Park Board review the proposal and <br />provide input, then make a final conclusi. The playground <br />equipment and gazebo could then be installe ext spring or summer. <br />Rick advised he has also been working wi- : ' er and Associates to <br />develop a landscaping play for Clearwat ek Park. He referred <br />to a copy of the concept play that was n' .ded in the packets.
