We have finally <br />given up on our rinks. Our last day of rink maintenance was February 13. Other maintenance <br />activities during February have included: <br />• Tree and brush removal <br />Over 30 dead, dying or hazardous trees have been removed from city parks and boulevards. <br />• Stump Grinding <br />Over 30 stumps have been ground from city parks. Most were done at Sunrise and Woods of <br />Baldwin Lake Park. <br />• Snow Plowing <br />Assisted Public Works with plowing of streets and parking lots. <br />• Miscellaneous <br />• Picked up and stored hockey goals. <br />• Advertisement for bids for Clearwater Creek Landscaping Project. <br />• Equipment maintenance. <br />• Installed wood duck houses (5). <br />• Attended Chain Saw Safety and Defensive Driving Training Classes. <br />• Arranged community service projects for 7th graders at Centennial Middle School. <br />• Finalized plans for 2002 Broadleaf Weed Control Program. <br />Those are February's highlights.
