Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department
600 Town Center Parkway
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
(651) 982 -2440 Fax (651) 982 -2439
•
April 30, 2002
TO: Park Board Members
FROM: Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director
SUBJECT: Clearwater Creek Park Update
Development of Clearwater Creek Park has been hampered due to the wet conditions this spring.
However we are continuing to develop Clearwater Creek Park in several areas:
• The play equipment container area including general grading, play area sub -cut, drain tile
installation, and play area curbing has begun and will be completed by May 9.
• The landscaping for the entire park is scheduled to begin later this week.
• The gazebo installation is scheduled to be done between May 13 — May 24.
• The playground equipment will be installed on Saturday, May 18. Clearwater Creek area
residents along with Park Maintenance Staff and a certified playground installer will begin
installing the equipment at lam. The wood fiber will be delivered on May 23.
• The concrete flat work for sidewalks and the gazebo plaza area, fine grading, site restoration,
and final cleanup will be done between June 3 — June 14.
• A 2" service tap including curb stop and 1" blowout will be done to provide a future
connection for the irrigation system.
After the above items are completed, we hope to be able to pave the internal trails and prepare
the entire park area for seeding this fall.
sw /parkbrd/meeting information/Clearwater Creek Park Update 5- 6- 02.doc
