Enough snow already, <br />let spring begin! Maintenance activities during April have included: <br />Playground inspection <br />Opened skate park <br />Opened tennis courts <br />Opened basketball courts <br />Ballfield supplies delivered and stored (chalk, mound clay) <br />Ballfield maintenance projects <br />Painted bases <br />Field inspection <br />Rebuilt batters boxes <br />Centennial Middle School #3,4 <br />Sunrise #1,2,3,4 <br />Renovated infields <br />Rice Lake Elementary #1,2,3 <br />Garbage collection <br />Assisted with Earth Day at Wargo <br />Delivered picnic tables to parks <br />Hung nets on Rice Lake Elementary soccer goals <br />Re- roofed Lino Park Building <br />Conducted controlled burns to native prairie at Behm's Park and Town Center <br />Clearwater Creek Park development - Coordinated projects with contractors <br />Tree and shrub planting <br />Gazebo delivery <br />Playground and gazebo site preparation and concrete curbing installation <br />Prepped nursery area for bare root plant delivery <br />Determined planting location for BR trees, called in utility locates <br />Election set -up and take down <br />Trail sweeping <br />Irrigation system start-ups <br />Equipment maintenance <br />Assisted Public Works with snow plowing and tree removal after April 27th storm <br />• <br />Those are the major highlights for April, much more to come in May. <br />sw /parkbrd/mikehoffman/April 02 Park Update.doc <br />
