Our attendance numbers for the trips were quite good. Crystal Cave on October 15 - 33 youth, <br />Pumpkin Patch on October 16 - 23 youth, Bowling /Lunch /Como Zoo on October 17 - 29 youth, Zoo Boo! And Pumpkin <br />Night in the Park on October 25 - 45 youth and adults. <br />• <br />Youth Soccer: The program recently concluded with a playoff weekend for the older participants (U10/12). Based on <br />the feedback received thus far, the program went well. Participants seemed happy with the registration procedure, <br />fields, coaches, teams and distribution of players. A survey was passed out just prior to the end of the season. Once <br />the surveys are returned, more information will be available. <br />Youth Football: We saw an increase in participation this season in all divisions. Even though there were only two more <br />teams than last season, there were more players for per team. The department will be addressing how to motivate <br />participants to register prior to the posted registration deadline, as late registration has become an issue. A program <br />es ey was passed out to all participants. In a few weeks, the information will be compiled and adjustments in the <br />ation of this program may be made. <br />Fastpitch Pitching Clinics: The fall programs are full. Due to facility limitations, the department is unable to expand this <br />program to accommodate additional participants. <br />r p,-{- -t #, 1 <br />Family Turkey Shoot: This year's event will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Centennial Middle School from <br />10 -11:30 a.m. The event consists of low -key competition in a variety of athletic events. Other features of the event <br />include: Inflatable Arch Bounce, turkey coloring activity, removable tattoo station and refreshments. <br />Breakfast with Santa: Registration is slow this year compared to previous years. Currently, 147 youth and adults are <br />signed up. Last year at this time we had reached our maximum of 200 and had started a waiting list. <br />�Dj T <br />Community Outings: We are currently researching new ways of marketing to <br />our target audience. <br />Fitness: Registration is solid. The season pass is popular once again this year. We <br />have added several new fitness programs this winter such as massage and a ball <br />and bands class. <br />RECREKiloN REYt Ew <br />4111are currently working on the Winter 2003/2004 edition of the Recreation Review, <br />scheduled to be in homes the last week of November. <br />Questions?
