COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 13, 2000 Council to once again have a mechanism by which they can recognize citizens who make a difference in the community. This program is called the Lino Lakes Community Service Award. Staff reviewed their recommendations relating to the nomination committee, nominations, the award, and time line. Staff noted awards would be presented at the second meeting in September of each year. Council Member Dahl moved to adopt the guidelines of the Lino Lakes Community Service Award, as presented. Council Member Carlson seconded the motion. Mayor Bergeson suggested the Council and each City Board appoint a representative for the nominating committee at their next meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Consideration of Resolution No. 2000 — 35, Change of Signatories on City Firstar Accounts, Linda Waite Smith — Staff advised Firstar Bank requires the City to ..: • the change of signatories on the following City accounts: 1. PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER Consideration of Mutual Aid Agreement with the Cities of Hugo and Centerville (3/4 Vote Required), Rick DeGardner — Staff referred to a proposed Mutual Aid Agreement between the City of Hugo, the City of Centerville, and the City of Lino Lakes for the provision of emergency repairs of maintenance of any member's municipal water or sanitary sewer system. 6 • •
