• <br />• <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />Park Board Meeting <br />April 3, 2000 <br />referred to a letter written in response to Mrs. Nelson's <br />concerns. A meeting with around a dozen residents and the Game <br />Time representative was held on March 22, 2000. The meeting was <br />very productive and will result in a good playground project. <br />Installation is set for Saturday, June 3, 2000. <br />Pat stated staff made sure the neighborhood had input regarding <br />the equipment and should be commended on how it was handled. <br />Paul added that the park was without playground equipment for <br />years. Staff handled it well and in a timely manner. <br />Chris asked if more volunteers are needed for installation. The asking price <br />is $36,900.00. The two lots were deeded to the City in 1988 to <br />fulfill park dedication requirements for the Rice Lake Estates <br />Development. A Geo Technical study was conducted by Braun <br />Intertec, which indicates that soil corrections will be needed to <br />provide an adequate building pad. Combining the two lots will <br />provide adequate room to build a single family home. Jeff Joyer <br />from Coldwell Banker is the City's real - estate agent. The <br />agreement provides for a total of 10 percent commission upon sale <br />of the lots. <br />The Park Board decided at the July 6, 1998, Park Board meeting to <br />• designate an additional $25,700 from Park Dedication Funds to <br />complete the development of Rice Lake Estates Park.
