Traditionally, the shelters are
open before Christmas and close the end ofFebruary. The past couple of seasons, the_opening
date have fluctuated to the point of opening January 1 or later. The season concluded on
February 22. The shelters could have been closed a week prior to the actual closing date due to
the warm temperatures.
This seasoned we opened three out of four on December 28. The ice conditions we not up to
our normal standards, but it was decided to open up the shelters for the season.
Attendance was up at most of the shelters. At the City Hall location, there were more
scheduled practice times that affected the higher attendance figures.
Please review the attendance figures that are enclosed in this information. If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact my office.
Thank You!
LINO LAKES PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
"We are working Bard, so you can play'
