City of Lino Lakes <br />Park Board Meeting <br />March 6, 2000 <br />Fast Break Corner Market and Lino Lakes State Bank have agreed to <br />sponsorship of the scoreboards. Each company will contribute <br />$1,200 for a three -year period. A 4' x 4' advertising panel will <br />be located adjacent to the scoreboard. Juleen Signs will be <br />producing the advertising panels. <br />Pam asked about the users of the scoreboard. Rick advised the <br />primary users of the scoreboard will be the Adult Softball <br />League. They will be responsible for running the scoreboard <br />also. <br />Jeff asked about the longevity of the scoreboard. Rick advised <br />the scoreboard will last approximately 12 -15 years. He stated <br />this is the first time the City has used •onsorship. The City <br />will look for a new sponsor after the thre- ear term is up. Thirty -two youth attended the trip. <br />Rick advised the cooperative "spring break" trips with the Blaine <br />Parks and Recreation Department and the Centennial Community <br />Services Department went very well. The Recreation Department is <br />pleased by the successes of these trips and are planning to <br />continue this relationship for the summer field trips. <br />With the addition of a season pass, registration in the Fitness <br />(Wellness) program has increased. This pass allows participants <br />to pick and choose the classes they would like to attend. The <br />yoga classes that were newly added this winter have been a big <br />hit.
