Six proposals were received, three were quotes for fabrication and delivery of the bridge superstructure, requiring the City to construct the substructures and install the bridge. Three proposals included the fabrication delivery and construction of both the sub structure and superstructures. The proposals received are as follows: 1) Continental Bridge — This proposal is for the fabrication and delivery of the composite tubular steel truss (with timber deck) bridge superstructure only and delivery. The proposed bridge length is 50 -feet, single span, with a width of 6 -feet, 8 -feet and 10 -feet as requested in the request for proposals. The bridge costs proposed are $14,386 for the 6 -foot width, $16,389 for the 8 -foot width, and $ 17,629 for the 10 -foot width. This proposal does not include materials for the bridge substructure. No warranty is indicated for the materials in this proposal. This proposal does not include material costs for the bridge substructure. The City will be responsible for providing equipment to unload the bridge from the delivery vehicle, design and construction of the bridge substructures, permitting with the Rice Creek Watershed District, and erection of the bridge superstructure. 2) Wheeler Lumber LLC - This proposal is for the fabrication and delivery of the composite tubular steel truss (with timber deck) bridge superstructure only and delivery.
