This proposal does include timber <br />materials for the bridge substructure. <br />The bridge costs proposed (excluding substructure materials) are $10,310 for the 6 -foot <br />width, $10,760 for the 8 -foot width, and $11,625 for the 10 -foot width. The bridge <br />costs proposed, including the materials for the substructures, are $14,465 for the 6 -foot <br />width, $15,155 for the 8 -foot width, and $17,010 for the 10 -foot width. The bridge <br />proposed is covered by material warranty for 15 years from the date of delivery. <br />This proposal includes costs for a creosote treated timber pile foundation with timber <br />pile caps, backing plank, bracing fillers and hardware for the installation by others. <br />The City will be responsible for providing equipment to unload the bridge from the <br />delivery vehicle, construction of the bridge substructures, permitting with the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District, and erection of the bridge superstructure. <br />• 3) Jay Brothers, Inc. - This proposal is for furnishing and installing the composite tubular <br />steel truss (with timber deck) bridge proposed for fabrication by Continental Bridge <br />listed above. The proposal includes furnishing and installing the bridge superstructure <br />and steel helical pile substructures. The bridge costs for furnishing and installing the <br />bridge (including erosion control at the substructures) proposed are $47,700 for the 6- <br />foot width, $48,700 for the 8 -foot width, and $50,120 for the 10 -foot width. <br />The City will be responsible for providing permitting with the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District, and extension of the park trail to the bridge. The contractor will backfill the <br />substructure of the bridge only in the area disturbed by construction immediately at the <br />bridge. <br />• <br />4) Sunram Construction, Inc. - This proposal is for furnishing and installing the composite <br />tubular steel truss (with timber deck) bridge proposed for fabrication by Wheeler <br />Lumber, LLC listed above. The proposal includes furnishing and installing the bridge <br />superstructure and substructures. The bridge costs for furnishing and installing the <br />bridge proposed are $49,500 for the 6 -foot width, $50,500 for the 8 -foot width, and <br />$51,500 for the 10 -foot width. <br />The City will be responsible for providing permitting with the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District, and extension of the park trail to the bridge.
