City of Lino Lakes <br />Park Board Meeting <br />January 4,2000 <br />The January 4, 2000 City of Lino Lakes Park Board meeting was <br />called to order at 6:40pm, by Chair Lindy. <br />Roll call was taken, members present were Pam Taschuk, Jeff <br />Reinert, Joe Boyle, Paul Montain, Pat Huelman, and George Lindy. <br />Chris Welsand was absent. <br />Also present were Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director, <br />Sandie Wood, Office Manager. <br />APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 1, 1999 MINUTES: <br />Jeff Reinert made a motion, seconded by Pat Huelman, to approve <br />the November 1, 1999 minutes. The minutes were approved with <br />Paul Montain abstaining. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA: <br />The agenda was passed as presented. <br />OPEN MIKE: <br />Rick referred to a letter the City <br />6613 Ruffed Grouse Road. Ri he has not received any <br />additional response from r. f. <br />Chair Lindy noted Mr. iicorrectly stated parkland at Quail <br />Ridge would be next to develop. <br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE PARK LAND NEAR FOX TRACE DEVELOPMENT: <br />Rick referred to a petition from residents of the Fox Trace <br />Subdivision requesting purchase of property for development of a <br />neighborhood park. <br />The land that is referred to is located adjacent to the south <br />edge of the Fox Trace Subdivision. The eastern 4.8 acres (Parcel <br />#8) is owned by R- Properties. The western most property <br />comprises of 2.5 acres and is owned by Mr. Harold Lehman. Parcel <br />No. 7 is a one -acre piece owned by Mr. John Toben. Since the <br />petition was received on December 21, 1999, staff has not had an <br />opportunity to explore any possible land acquisition. <br />The Comprehensive Park Plan and Development Guide does not <br />identify a neighborhood park in this area.
