CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 21, 1999 <br />REGULAR AGENDA, JULY 26, 1999 <br />Mayor Sullivan suggested that the VFW recognize Mr. Lyle Carpenter for the generous <br />contributions made to the City under his leadership. Council indicated support of this <br />suggestion. Mr. Carpenter will be recognized at the August 9th Council meeting. <br />Item 3E, Report from the City Auditor - Ms. Waite Smith will ask Ms. Paula Schloer, <br />City Accountant, to be present for the report. <br />Item 4A, Consideration of Amended Conditional Use Permit Request, Oasis <br />Market/Amoco, 7509 lake Drive - This item was tabled until August 9, 1999. <br />Item 4B, FIRST READING, Ordinance No. 20 - 99, Rezone from Neighborhood <br />Business to General Business, Conditional Use Permit & Site Plan Review, American <br />Legion, Lake Drive — Council received a copy of the resident survey conducted by the <br />American Legion in their packets. <br />Item 4H, Consideration of Site Plan & Variances, Shirley Kay ' ; : ,• Restaurant - If <br />the City receives a request for an extension, this item will b - e.` °the agenda. <br />If an extension request is not received, action by Council on Monday night. <br />Ms. Waite Smith noted staff has received a re <br />Pampered Chef party.
