• <br />• <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION NOVEMBER 5, 1997 <br />GERALD REHBEIN DEVELOPMENT PLAN, DAVID AHRENS <br />Mr. Ahrens presented Mr. Rehbein's development proposal and noted that he is preparing <br />a schedule for the construction of utility services. <br />Ms. Joan Tschida has submitted a proposal for a convenience store on Mr. Rehbein's <br />property located on the southeast quadrant of Main Street and 21st Avenue and plans to <br />be operational by June, 1998. She will present her development proposal to the Planning <br />and Zoning Board in December. <br />Staff explained that since the City is in litigation over development issues east of I -35E, it <br />appears logical to proceed with Ms. Tschida's proposal. <br />Since 21st Avenue is a boundary street with one -half of the street located in the City of <br />Centerville, a joint improvement project should be implemented.
