COUNCIL WORK SESSION OCTOBER S, 1997 <br />staff and the Fire District personnel are completely prepared in the event of a fire, escape <br />or a riot in the prison. <br />Mr. Schumacher suggested that the Council get the Lino Lakes representatives in the <br />State Legislature involved so that the City will immediately be made aware of a <br />"situation" at the prison and if any Lino Lakes personnel are needed, the State pay those <br />salaries and benefits. <br />REGULAR AGENDA <br />SECOND READING, Ordinance No. 21- 97, Adopting an Automated Pawn System <br />Ordinance - Chief Pecchia noted that this ordinance had its FIRST READING at the <br />September 22nd. Council meeting. The ordinance is currently under review by the City <br />Attorney. Anoka County is considering a new reallocation <br />system. <br />Council will be updated when further information is available. <br />LAKE DRIVE TRUNK UTILITY UPDATE, DAVID AHRENS <br />Mr. Ahrens briefly updated Council on this project.
