• <br />Planning & Zoning Board <br />July 14, 1999 <br />Page 11 <br />Mr. Corson made a friendly amendment to include the City ensures that the dirt pile <br />doesnot affect neighborhood drainage and a sidewalk be extended from the intersection of <br />Nancy Drive to Lake Drive south to Outlot A. <br />Ms. Wyland advised the overall park plan shows a transportation trail along Lake Drive. <br />Mr. Kerber stated that in his opinion the only reason for the trail in Highland Meadows <br />was to put in park benches and use the area as an informal park. A trail going north to <br />Main Street was looked at. Access was allowed for to get to Main Street. <br />Mr. Dunn suggested the Board make a recommendation to City staff to take the plan back <br />to the Park Board to look at and consider a trail connection. <br />Mr. Corson expressed concern regarding too many unattached trail segments within the <br />City. Ms. Wyland advised she will discuss the issue with Park Board. The Park Board <br />did not recommend an additional trail. <br />It was determined that the following conditions of app al would be added: <br />16. PUBLIC HEARI <br />in Bus Barn, 6298 Hodgson Road, Amended <br />Conditional Use Permit & Si' n Review <br />Rehbein Transit Inc. is requesting an Amended Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan <br />Review to allow the construction of a 14 x 26 addition to the rear of their office /shop <br />building. The 364 square foot addition will be used as a dispatch office. <br />Staff noted the Fire Chief has reviewed the site plan and indicated that an addition to the <br />building will require the entire building to be sprinkled and may require a hydrant to be <br />located on the property. <br />Acting Chair Lane declared the public hearing open at 8:40 p.m. <br />Mr. Dunn suggested the sprinkling of the building be added to the conditions of approval <br />• Mr. Corson made a MOTION to close the public hearing at 8:42 p.m., and was supported <br />by Ms. Carlson. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />
